After declaring her cuisine “off-the-wall” and not what diners want to eat, Misti Norris left the Art Institute of Dallas in her second semester to do things her way, and the culinary scene has never been the same since.
A creative master of foraged foods, butchery and charcuterie, Chef Norris has gained critical acclaim, including a James Beard nomination, for her work at FT33 and Small Brewpub.
She currently works out of her personally-creatively concept, Petra and the Beast, a series of pop-up dinners spotlighting fermentation, foraging and cooking over open flames.
