A Bloody Caesar inspired twist on classic shrimp cocktail with kick of heat from Cholula® Chili Lime Hot Sauce.
Ingredients
Serves 4
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) Frenchs ® Tomato Ketchup
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Lemon Juice, fresh
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Tequila
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsps (30 milliliters) Cholula ® Chili Lime Hot Sauce
- 2 tsps (10 milliliters) Horseradish, prepared
- 2 tsps (10 milliliters) Frenchs ® Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp (5 milliliters) Club House ® Pepper, Black Coarse Grind
- 1/4 tsp (1 milliliter) Salt
- 1 pound (500 grams) Shrimp, 16/2, P&D, Cooked, Chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) Scallions, sliced
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) Celery, 1/4-inch (1/2-cm) Dice
- 8 each Cilantro Leaves
Procedure
Prep
- In a bowl combine ketchup, lemon juice, tequila, cilantro, chili lime, horseradish, Worcestershire, black pepper, and salt. Whisk until well mixed. Hold refrigerated for service.
Service
- For each serving, in a bowl combine 3/4 cup (175 ml) chopped shrimp, 1/4 cup (60 ml) celery, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) scallions, and 2 ounces (60 ml) prepared cocktail sauce.
- Place Bloody Maria Shrimp Cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with whole cilantro leaves as a garnish. Serve chilled.
