Club House Chives, Freeze Dried
Chives are grown for their leaves, which are used for culinary purposes as a flavouring herb and provide a somewhat milder flavour than those of other Allium species. Chives are gently freeze dried so that full size is achieved upon rehydration.
Chives can be used with cottage cheese, sour cream, toppings, cheeses, frozen entrees, salad dressings, seasoned snack coatings, snack dips, sausage stews, soups, sauces, crackers, breads, and pizza. Used in cold soups, stir fried items, cheese and cream sauces, dips, potatoes and as a garnish. Chives are popular in European and Chinese cuisines and in the seasoning blend fine herbs. To use, simply sprinkle the herbs directly out of the package or measure and use according to your needs.
