Ingredients
Herbes de Provence Simple Syrup | Serves 4
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) Water
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) Sugar
- 2 tbsps (20 milliliters) McCormick Gourmet® Herbes de Provence
Lemonade | Serves 4
- 2 cups (500 milliliters) Water
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) Herbes de Provence Simple Syrup, room temperature
- 1 cup (250 milliliters) Elderflower Liqueur
Procedure
Herbes de Provence Simple Syrup
- Bring water and sugar to boil in saucepan until sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in Herbes de Provence. Let steep 15 minutes. Strain through fine mesh sieve. Cool to room temperature.
- Mix water, lemon juice and Simple Syrup in large pitcher. Hold refrigerated for service.
Service
- Stir Lemonade concentrate. For each serving, fill large cocktail shaker with ice, 7 ounces (210 ml) Lemonade concentrate and 2 ounces (60 ml) elderflower liqueur. Shake vigorously 30 seconds.
- Pour lemonade into ice-filled 12-ounce (350 ml) glasses and garnish with a sprig of fresh thyme and a twist of lemon, if desired.
