The classic favourite of Frank's RedHot® Original Buffalo Wings Sauce, shredded chicken, and blue cheese.
Ingredients
Serves 4
- 1 pound (500 grams) Chicken Thighs, Boneless/Skinless
- 1 tbsp (15 milliliters) Vegetable Oil
- 8 oz (226 grams) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) Franks ® Original Buffalo Wings Sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) Blue Cheese Dressing
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1/2 cup (125 milliliters) French’s® Crispy Fried Onions
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Blue Cheese, Crumbles
- 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) Celery, 1/4" (0.5 cm) Dice
- 8 cups Pita Chips or Tortilla Chips
Procedure
Prep
- Set oven to 350°F (180°C). Arrange chicken on a lined sheet tray and cook until internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached. Cool chicken and shred.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, Buffalo Wings Sauce, blue cheese dressing and Monterey jack cheese until ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Mix chicken into cream cheese mixture. Portion equally into 6 oz ramekins. Hold refrigerated for service.
Service
- Set oven to 350°F (180°C). For each ramekin of dip, bake until dip is heated through.
- Remove from oven and top with 2 tablespoons crispy onions and 1 tablespoon blue cheese crumbles. Return to oven for just a few minutes to toast onions and melt cheese.
- Garnish with 1 tablespoon diced celery and serve with 2 cups chips.
CHEF's TIP!
Switch it up by replacing shredded chicken with pulled pork shoulder, crab meat, or even shrimp!
