Blackberry and Black Pepper Grilled Wings

Ingredients Quantities
Pepper, Black Coarse Cracked 530 g 1 tsp
Blackberry preserves 1 cup
Fresh blackberries 1 cup
Apple cider vinegar 3 tbsp
Liquid White Honey 250 g 2 tbsp
Water 2 tbsp
Chicken wing portions 2 lb
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Montreal Steak Spice 825 g 2 tbsp

Instructions

1. Mix pepper, preserves, blackberries, vinegar, honey, and water in medium saucepan. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium. Simmer 15 minutes or until slightly thickened and syrupy, stirring occasionally. 2. Mix wings and oil in large bowl until coated. Sprinkle with steak spice; toss to coat evenly. 3. Grill chicken wings over medium heat 20 to 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), turning occasionally. 4. Remove wings from grill and place in large bowl with 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the sauce mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately with remaining sauce for dipping.
